1)  Please use a spell check before submiting anything.  Not only is that going to make my job easier, it's going to make you look a lot smarter.  I understand that some people just plain stink at spelling: I'm one of them.  So please, just run a spell check.

2)  I have few rules on profanity, but this one is my biggest one:  Try your absolute hardest not to use the F-word.  I know in some cases you need it so your character doesn't sound like a second grader, but if I think you are overusing it, I will let you know, and give you a chance to fix it.

3)  Keep the sexual content out.  There is quite a difference from making out and having sex.  If you can't tell the difference, leave both out, just to be safe.

4)  Don't palgerize.  Give everyone that was involved credit.  And ask to use a character from someone elses fic.

5)  If you are in doubt, just ask.  It will save all of us a lot of time if you just ask before sending me your entire fic.

6)  On pics, make sure the character's name is on it, or within the email.  Yes, this includes fan characters as well.

7)  Remember, I may add or subtract rules at any time.  If I send your fic back for a reason that is not currently on here, I will update this and give you an explination as to why I sent it back.

8)  Enjoy your reading and writing.  That makes it better for you, and I'm happy when the people are happy.  Which in turn may make you happy.  Just remember, if you take your time and enjoy your work, chances are that it will be better.
